Cojali S. L., a Spanish multinational leader in component manufacturing, multi-brand diagnostics and development of technological solutions for the industrial automotive sector, conducted last 26th January a webinar on the benefits of implementing advanced telematics in fleets of commercial vehicles. This webinar aroused great interest among transport companies and fleet managers, with more than 300 participants of whom more than 180 were connected in real time.

The session was focused on the return on investment associated to an advanced telematics solution, such as Jaltest Telematics, and it was marked by its careful performance and exposition of content, which was very enjoyable thanks to the simultaneous participation of some of the maximum exponents of the telematics project in Cojali from different locations, such as the electronics production line or the training facilities. During the exposition, some of the high added-value functionalities which enable the progress on the telematics concept, such as Predictive Maintenance, Remote Diagnostics or Data Science applied to efficient driving, were analysed.

Furthermore, some of the most important companies of the sector, such as Primafrío, Fraikin, or Transportes Abengoza, took part in the webinar and shared their experience as Jaltest Telematics clients.

In particular, Adrian Valverde, Innovation and ESG manager of Primafrío highlighted the importance of the strategies deployed to reduce consumptions and thus emission, with ratios reaching 4,600 litres per day which results in more than 12 TON of CO2, keys to progress on the group’s strategic goals toward the decarbonisation of transport. 

Sergi Abietar, Infrastructure and telemetry manager at Fraikin, noted the importance of guaranteeing optimised maintenance to ensure his clients’ satisfaction. Lastly, Federico Abengoza, CEO of Transportes Abengoza, shared his experience with the solution and emphasised the possibility of solving unexpected on-route problems, such as power reductions associated to the particulate filter in Euro 6 vehicles, by managing them remotely thanks to Jaltest Telematics, allowing the vehicle to continue on route and complying with the commitment to his clients.
