Jaltest, present at SpainSkills 2026 promoting young talent in the diagnostics of commercial vehicles
Mar 16, 2026

From 24 to 28 February, IFEMA MADRID hosted SpainSkills 2026, the Campeonato Nacional de Formación Profesional that brings together the best young talents in Spain. A benchmark meeting to showcase the technical excellence, effort and preparation of future professionals in the sector, organised by the Ministerio de Educación, Formación Profesional y Deportes.

In this edition, Jesús Novés Santos, head of the training department of Jaltest University, participated as an evaluator in the test on reading, interpreting and using databases and working in a virtual environment, a skill that is becoming more and more decisive in modern diagnostics with Jaltest Diagnostics. This assessment was part of Skill 49: "Heavy duty vehicle Technology", where the ability to analyse technical information, navigate diagnostics environments and make informed decisions makes a difference.

A total of 9 participants from different autonomous communities demonstrated their level in a particularly demanding exercise. The highest score went to Manuel Prada (Galicia), who shared his assessment after the test carried out with Jaltest Diagnostics:

"The experience during the test was very good. I especially liked the interaction with the Jaltest Diagnostics interface and the approach to the questions. It is a very comprehensive test, because it embraces many aspects and forces you to move through the diagnostics menu and get to grips with it. I am very happy with the result."

The competition ended with Manuel Prada (Galicia) on top of the podium, followed by Héctor Soriano (Catalonia), who won silver, and Francisco Javier Carillo (Murcia), who took bronze.

The event was also attended by Arsenio González, Cojali's Business Development Director for Spain and Portugal, who had the opportunity to meet the winner of the event, as well as Daniel Molins Vidal, technical coordinator of Skill 49 "Heavy duty Vehicle Technology".

At Jaltest, we remain committed to training, innovation and young talent that will keep the sector moving, reinforcing key skills for the present and future of commercial vehicle maintenance and diagnostics.
