The fast growth of the company, that has characterised Cojali for more than 28, led to the creation of the subsidiary Cojali France in 1994. Cojali France, the French subsidiary of the parent company Cojali S. L., was initially founded with the name Défi Diffusion. The word "Défi", which means "challenge" in French, was chosen to represent the first real challenge outside Spain for the company at that time. "Diffusion" was chosen to underline Cojali will to develop in other markets.
The name "Défi" characterised all the company activities developed from the late 1990s to the early 2000s. It started in the bosom of Cojali France with the manufacture of cooling systems for commercial vehicle, extending its catalogue with the advent of pneumatic valves in 1997, under the Jalair brand.
CREATION OF JALTEST DIAGNOSTICS SERVICE
The spirit of innovation of Cojali led in time to the introduction of diagnostics solutions for commercial vehicles at the subsidiary, marked by the first sale of the vehicle Jaltest Diagnostics tool on July 2004. The following year, a dozen of tools was sold, and in 2018 more than 200 units.

The telematics solutions arrived in 2016, arising from new technologies and a strong client demand.
CREATION OF COJALI REMAN SERVICE
The celebration of the 25th anniversary of Défi Diffusion came with some innovations, as the change of the subsidiary name to Cojali France, which would come into effect at the end of 2019. The purpose of this modification was to identify the subsidiary as an essential element of Cojali.
Furthermore, Cojali France shares Cojali’s view, considering training as an essential aspect for staff and distributors. Therefore, in this subsidiary it has been created an engineering team that manages the Cojali Reman Department and the electronic repair lab of France.
The Cojali component brand became Cojali Parts.
Some of the most recognised brands in the world in the commercial vehicle sector have been created over time, such as Jaltest Diagnostics, Jaltest Telematics or Cojali, recently renamed Cojali Parts.
Cojali Parts has been the first activity of Cojali S. L. in more than three decades. All this time, the purpose of the company has been to focus on technology, innovation and quality as foundations, in order to be in the vanguard of the sector. Thanks to its work, Cojali Parts catalogue currently includes more than 15,000 references, fomenting unstoppable growth and development.
The development of Cojali France activities has been possible thanks to the continuous evolution of the innovative products of the multinational. From 1994, the growth of the French company arose the need of expanding their facilities.
A warehouse, daily supplied by materials from the Spain head office, has been built, and an after-sales service has been developed, ensuring technical and sales assistance for Cojali France clients.
