CREATION

Cojali Italy, the Italian subsidiary of the parent company Cojali, was founded on 25th March 2004. Initially, its name was Defitalia, after the success of the first Cojali subsidiary, the French Défi Diffusion (now Cojali France), which was the first real challenge of the company outside Spain. The word "Défi", which means "challenge" in French, was chosen to underline the Cojali wish to expand in new markets. The name "Défi" characterised all the new company activities, developed from the late 1990s to the beginning of the 2000s.

2015

JALTEST DIAGNOSTICS

The opening of the subsidiary Defitalia in 2004 implied the distribution of products in Italian territory, which allowed our market to start to know and appreciate Cojali brands, Jalair (old Cojali brand for remanufactured products, current Cojali Reman), and from 2015 the Jaltest diagnostics tool, the new project linked to multi-brand and multi-system diagnostics for commercial vehicles.

2016

NEW LOCATION

The company name was changed in 2016 when it was relocated to its new head office at Cesano Boscone, in the outskirts of Milan.

COJALI ITALY

The continuous evolution of innovative products of Cojali has characterised the development of Cojali Italy activities, allowing us to upgrade the facilities, which include a warehouse (daily supplied by materials from the factory in Spain) and an after-sales structure, to provide the network of official dealers in Italian territory and in the close Italian-speaking Switzerland with quick sales and technical support.
