On 28 May, the Rafael del Pino Auditorium in Madrid will host the debate on the new challenges facing the transport sector. Cojali, through its Jaltest Telematics division, is organising the Future of Transport Forum, a key event for road freight, passenger transport, urban transport and last mile professionals.

The meeting, which will start at 6 pm, will bring together leading experts from the public and private sectors to analyse the evolution of transport in a context marked by digitalisation, sustainability and electrification.

Round tables to discuss the challenges facing the sector

The first round table, moderated by Pablo Guindo, director of the magazine Ruta del Transporte, will start at 6:30 pm and will focus on freight transport. Under the title "New paradigm of road transport: innovation, digitalisation and sustainability", key aspects such as the application of disruptive technologies in fleet management, operational excellence in transport processes, talent retention in the sector and the monetisation of energy savings with the implementation of the new CAEs (Energy Saving Certificates) will be discussed.

The second round table, moderated by Mayte Rodríguez, director of the magazine Carril Bus, will be dedicated to passenger and urban transport. Entitled "The great mobility challenge: electrification, efficiency and availability", it will address topics such as operational transformation in the age of electrification, the importance of predictive maintenance, automation and autonomous driving, as well as the role of urban transport in the implementation of Low-Emission Zones.

Participants in the event will include representatives from key companies and organisations in the sector such as the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, Lextransport, Astic, Confebus, EMT Madrid and EMT Valencia, among others.
