Cojali will participate in the 16th Congreso Nacional de Comunidades de Regantes, which will be held from 13 to 17 April in IFEDI, Ciudad Real, with a proposal focused on the integration of agricultural and irrigation data.
In a context in which the sector is advancing in digitalisation, the company wants to focus on an increasingly relevant challenge: to unite data on sowing, fertilisation, treatments, harvesting and irrigation in a single vision of the campaign. The aim is that this information is not isolated in separate systems, but can be exploited together within an FMIS to improve decision-making.
Cojali's proposal starts from a clear basis: to capture the real data in the field, record it in a standardised way and facilitate its traceability. From there, the next step is to also incorporate irrigation information to relate what was done on each field, when water was applied, how the crop responded and what the final result was.
"The challenge is not just to have more data, but to make sense of all the information when it is analysed together. By connecting field and irrigation data, it is possible to better understand what is happening, optimise decision making and manage resources more efficiently", says José Miguel Sánchez, Sales Director at Jaltest ISOBUS.
During the congress, Cojali will share this practical vision of interoperability and will show on its stand 43 how to move towards a single campaign vision, with a focus on traceability, comparability and justification of investments.
