The UCLM Racing Team is made up of students from the different campuses of the University of Castilla-La Mancha who share a passion for engineering, innovation and motor racing. Its aim is to apply the knowledge gained in the classroom to a real-world competitive environment by designing, developing and optimising a single-seater race car to compete in Formula Student, one of the most prestigious university engineering competitions in the world.

Formula Student brings together universities from all over the world each year at leading international circuits, where teams are assessed on both the dynamic performance of their vehicles and aspects relating to design, innovation, costs and project management.

The URT26 represents the result of months of work, effort and dedication by a multidisciplinary team that has faced every stage of the project, from design and simulation to the manufacture and tuning of the vehicle. This single-seater race car is also a further step in the team's development and will be the last participation with a combustion engine before starting its transition to electric mobility.
