Cojali has been awarded the La Chambre 2026 Award in the “Innovation - Large Companies and SMEs” category thanks to Jaltest ESB, the ECU Simulation Bench developed by the company for the commercial vehicle sector. The award was presented during the Gala Dinner organised by the Franco-Spanish Chamber of Commerce – La Chambre, at the Casa de Mónico (Madrid), which brought together more than 250 CEOs, senior executives and institutional representatives from both countries.
In this category, Cojali was nominated alongside internationally renowned companies such as Dassault Systèmes, Decathlon and ENGIE, featuring the high standard of the candidatures and the prestige of these awards, which recognise innovation and business excellence.
The award-winning project, Jaltest ESB, is an ECU simulation bench that allows the user to diagnose, simulate and validate the operation of electronic control units (ECUs) of commercial vehicles outside the vehicle itself, enabling them to be repaired and reused. The solution combines proprietary hardware and software to replicate real vehicle operating conditions, ensuring accurate, safe and highly efficient verification processes.
After receiving the award, Jesús Carreño, head of the Electronics Division at Cojali, emphasised that “This award represents significant recognition of Cojali’s efforts in the field of innovation and technological development. As well as giving visibility to our work, it allows us to highlight projects such as Jaltest ESB, which combine technology, sustainability and direct practical application in the commercial vehicle sector.”
He also emphasised the significance of this recognition coming from an institution that promotes business relations between Spain and France: “Spain and France are strategic markets for our company. "This award encourages us to continue developing innovative solutions with a global focus that can have a positive impact on the industry.”
This award holds special significance for Cojali as it comes in the year of the company’s 35th anniversary and it represents further recognition of the technological commitment embodied by Jaltest ESB, which was already honoured earlier this year with the National Industry Award “Bien Hecho en España 2025”, presented by His Majesty King Felipe VI and the Ministry of Industry and Tourism. Winning both awards cements Jaltest ESB’s position as a leader in innovation, digitalisation and sustainability within the field of industrial maintenance.
