Cojali Group, a leading company in the development of components, diagnostic software and technology for the management of commercial vehicles, has celebrated this month the 25th anniversary of its subsidiary Defi Diffusion (Cojali France), located in Martillac, France.
The rapid business growth, which has followed Cojali for more than 28 years, led to the foundation of the subsidiary in 1994. Its path began with the manufacture and development of cooling systems for commercial vehicles, expanding its catalogue with the arrival of valves, in 1997, under the brand Jalair.
The innovative spirit of Cojali later led to the introduction of diagnostic solutions for commercial vehicles in the subsidiary, achieving the first sale of the Jaltest Diagnosis tool in July 2004. The following year, 17 tools were sold, and in 2018, 223 sales were achieved. Telematics solutions arrived in 2016, with the French public transport company Keolis, based in Paris, which trusted Cojali to obtain the first fleet management solution with multi-brand remote diagnostic, Jaltest Telematics.
The celebration of the 25th anniversary of Defi Diffusion is accompanied by some changes such as the modification of the name of the subsidiary to Cojali France, which will become effective at the end of this year. This change will be made with the aim of identifying the subsidiary, in a simpler way, as an essential part of Cojali Group.
Furthermore, Defi Diffusion shares the ideas of Cojali in considering training as an essential aspect for workers and distributors. For this reason, starting in November, Defi Diffusion will train and introduce, in this subsidiary, an engineering team that will manage the Cojali Reman department and the electronic repair laboratory.
Finally, on 12 October, the Cojali board of directors in Spain travelled to Martillac to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Defi Diffusion, together with their French colleagues, they had the opportunity to inaugurate the new building, which has been built to house training rooms, new customer service for Jaltest and a laboratory for Cojali Reman.
At present, Cojali, which is based in Spain, is a consolidated brand with subsidiaries in France, Italy and the United States, as well as sales offices in Turkey, Russia and Mexico and more than 70 distributors in more than 115 countries. These 25 years are just the beginning of the story of success, effort and hard work carried out by the entire Defi Diffusion team. Cojali, for its part, thanks the commitment and professionalism to each of the components of the subsidiary, as well as the trust placed by partners, distributors and customers.
